Destination - Oxford
Who said you have to be a brain box to go to Oxford? We certainly don’t think so. Check out this great place, full of cosmopolitan charm and a laid back air about it, probably due to all the students here. But don’t let that put you off, as people come from all over the world to study at this Great British establishment of fine education, which means there is a lot of different cultures here which just give it make it that bit different to your standard university City.
In the day you may fancy chilling out by the River Thames either at the pub, on the grass soaking up the sun or trying your hand at paddling along on a punt. ( Punts are like a shorter version of a Gondola and damn good fun trying to steer these critters)
Maybe you wish just to shop, with two indoor centres and a decent selection of shops from your High Street names to something a little more quirky.
Oxford has got plenty of choice when it comes to nightlife, with an array of pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants. Mostly situated near to the bus station which is very handy if you just decide on the spur of the moment to jump on one of the 24 hour buses to London. Not that you’d want to as there’s plenty here to keep you amused.
