Here we have new one for you, yep a twin centre. Why go to just one town on  a weekend when you can visit two. These two are so close together it’s a crime not to do the both.

Cheltenham is the more cosmopolitan of the two, little bistros and cafes with people drinking their mocha-choca-frapa-itso-chino out on the street-side. Home also to the Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival every March ,also with so many Irish flocking to the town that week , St. Patrick’s Day is some thing you probably wont experience any better other than in Ireland itself.

This is a shopping haven for the ladies as the Promenade and Montpellier areas are lined with boutiques, and then you have the main high street shops also. Guys, summer time here is a great place, sitting in the park which is actually just  a huge beer garden as it actually has a bar, and checking out the sunbathing totty or the ones spending some serious loot. The ladies here are class, something a little extra for you. If you fancy yourself as a bit a charmer this is a place worth testing. Not easy...

Gloucester is very big on Rugby as it has a the famous Cherry and Whites here with a long history of success. Full of history with its Cathedral, Docks and Roman ruins but also a city in transition, Gloucester Quays has just opened it's doors with bargain designer goods, making Gloucester a lot more appealing for shopping.

Cheltenham nightlife is a mixture of the wine bars, pubs and clubs. Everything is walk able and so no need to wait in any taxi queues at the end of the night.

Gloucester is very different, nightlife is mainly down the one end of the city though pubs and bars are scattered about also. Slightly more choice of  pubs, clubs, balti houses and kebab shops than Cheltenham but all walk able. 2010 will also see the opening of the next Gloucester Quays phase bringing more nightlife variety.
